Q: I'm not familiar with ProRail. Who are you?

A: We're people who travel by car and air –- and trains, and who encourage others to include trains in their travel options.

We're a non-profit, non-partisan group of volunteers who finance our own activities. We've been part of the Madison community since 1985. We're also a chapter of the Wisconsin Association of Railroad Passengers and support and work with the Midwest High Speed Rail Association and the National Association of Railroad Passengers.

Q: When do you have meetings?

A: We hold meetings for our members and the public several times a year, as events warrant. Meetings are free and usually no advance reservations are required. We'll announce them on our Web site, Twitter, and Facebook page, as well as at our ProRail Travel and ProRail Action Yahoo Groups.

Q: How do I find you on Facebook?

A: Search Facebook for ProRail or find us at You don't have to have a Facebook account to view the page, although you will not be able to post messages without joining Facebook and becoming a ProRail fan.
